Tools: The Squeeze Bottle

Squeeze bottles were my first love when I was working in a restaurant, and our relationship is still going strong!

Using a squeeze bottle ensures that you have more control over your distribution and placement of cooking liquids. With squeeze bottles, you won’t accidentally pour out half of your olive oil trying to lightly oil something going in the oven. Squeeze bottles monitor how much liquid comes out of them far more accurately than most things. I put olive oil, vinegar, honey, and maple syrup in my squeeze bottles so that I can control exactly how much comes out, and I get a lovely drizzle.

Squeeze bottles make everything better. If you are trying to make your morning yogurt and honey look s’cute, use a squeeze bottle. If you are oiling a vegetable and don’t want to over do it, use a squeeze bottle. Just use a squeeze bottle, okay?!
